Wintertime Light

There’s a reason so many artists have made Oamaru their home over the years–the light here is simply extraordinary, and when it hits the limestone buildings it creates a vista that is hard to resist. Over the past few days I have had a chance to venture out to photograph some of Oamaru’s landmarks and take advantage of the view myself, and I thought I’d share it with you. If you’re coming to Oamaru over the next few months, be sure to take the time to enjoy the incredible scenery!
