We had no idea when we created our guide to Oamaru and the Waitaki District a few years ago that it would be downloaded by so many people, but we’re thrilled that so many folks are interested in learning about all that there is to do in our wonderful region. Just in time for the spring and summer travelling season, we have released an update that includes a few new listings in the Oamaru area, including information on a new cocktail lounge, a reopened restaurant (that seems set to be a new favourite of ours for our own meals out) and more.
