The Elizabeth Room is one of two rooms in the main Lodge building and was originally the bedroom for one of the family members. In keeping with the heritage of the house, the Elizabeth room is furnished with antique and period furniture, and a queen-size bed. The en-suite was originally the house’s sole bathroom, and still features the original large porcelain pedestal bath with Victorian brass fittings, and French doors leading into the private courtyard garden. The en-suite also enjoys a beautiful tile floor with underfloor heating. UPDATE: The en-suites in the Elizabeth and Victoria Rooms have been renovated in November 2019 with new, custom-made rimu vanities, stone countertops, additional storage space and heated towel rails.
In addition to central heating, this room also enjoys a Dyson Heat+Cool unit to provide instant heat and cooling. This room has a maximum capacity of two guests and is approximately 16 square metres.
