Oamaru has a new Restaurant

The Oamaru dining scene has just got a bit broader with the opening of a new restaurant in the north end of town. Restaurant 1861 is housed in Casa Nova House, Oamaru’s oldest stone building, which was recently purchased and restored by Katrina and Brenda, a couple who relocated to Oamaru from Auckland (where they run a successful restaurant) after they fell in love with our charming town.
